Shameless advertising and a story

Okay,I made a passitalong story on the fighunter forums, which is the shameless advertising (Or atleast the first wave :D)and here's the story. if oyu want to post in it, read the thread on fighunter.com and then post or subscribe to my blog and read it.You could do both too. Please? Now the story!:
Thadius was sitting on the
bridge, taking a drag off of his cigarette. He was under the age for smoking, but only by 5 years.Besides, it was his body, why did the government and his mother care?It was foggy, but it was always foggy in Salnus city. After he had finished smoking, he got up and started walking to Sam's. After he had gotten up, he saw a leather bound book, sitting at the rivers edge below the bridge.

"Weird.Nobody would just leave a book that expensive looking down there. No one would even bring a book down there period."Said Thadius, making his way down to the book.

When he got down there he picked up the book and brushed the sand of the cover. It read "Sir Black's dictionary of the arcane malevonlences and others".

Thadius was rather befuddled, not only by the fact that a book was left there, but what the name could possibly imply. It sounded cool too, so, he pocketed it, making sure no one could see him. He retreated under the bridge, to hide from wary eyes, as smoking and then reading, that just wouldn't be cool. Thadius wouldn't have that. Dammit, he knows for a fact, that he alone is the coolest guy around. This could tarnish his reputation. Besides, Sam, she could wait. Not like she has when he was late, anyway.

He figured he might as well learn what his find is about, it might be pretty cool, after all, it had the word "arcane." Thadius flipped the book open to a random page, and something compelled him to read aloud the first thing he saw...

"Omikelop-"

No sooner than the word left his mouth, the book started to glow, and a creature spawned in the river. It was flat, had sharp teeth, and had a really, really freaky eye on it's back. Thadius checked the book quickly, and saw that... that thing was the Omikelop.

He then did what any sensible kid would do. He ran.

Thadius ran up the beach and to the bridge and looked at the water below. He couldn't see the Omikelop, but it was still probably there. As he started to walk to the bus stop near here (Sam always asked why he smelled like cigarette smoke and his excuse had been the same for three months: "I was sitting next to some guy smoking".Not that Sam ever believed him.)and then stopped to check his pockets for the book.Damn.Gone. He didn't want to go back down to the river, but he had to get that book.If it could do that, it would probably fetch a high price, or just be something useful. He went back down to the beach, ran to the book, grabbed it, and ran up as fast as he could. The he walked up to the bust stop when he was stopped by a person."Good day there, young man!" said the person. "Might I interest you in a sweetie?"
He held out a bag of glowing green pebbles. Thadius thought about it for a moment. His parents and teachers were always telling him not to accept sweets from strange men, but there again, they also told him smoking was bad, and he did that anyway, so what the hell? He reached out to take one of the suspicious-looking stones. The second his hand touched the bag, however, the stranger reached into his coat and pulled out a medieval rapier.
"Gyahahah! Another victim slain!" he chortled, and stabbed Thadius in the chest.
...Or at least he would have done, if not for

An odd flash of light that deflected the blow. The man had been caught off guard and Thadius used the opportunity to punch him in the
face.Several times. While the man lay on the ground inching towards his rapier, and trying to stop the bleeding form his face, Thadius flipped through the book he had found in an effort to use it's powers. He saw something that look a lot like a python, read the word Plython from the book and it was sitting on the street.
"Plython!Strangle that guy or something!"Yelled Thadius, praying that it would listen.

It did and grabbed the man in it's body, squeezing him until he passed out. After Thadius had kicked the man in the crotch as hard as he could, he went over to examine the bag he had been holding on to.He grabbed the bag and pulled th draw string shut.

"Plython!Let's go!" He shouted, popping one of the glowing candies into his mouth.Plython crawled up his back and rested it self on Thadius' shoulders. As he walked he wondered why the candies had been glowing.
Thadius also wondered if it was a good idea to eat the candy. I mean, sure, it tasted alright, but the whole glowing thing sort of unnerved him. He pondered this until finally he spoke.

"Nothing's happened yet... Let's hope it stays this way, Plython," he said.

Thadius walked on towards the general direction of Sam's house. He couldn't quite fathom all that had happened, it was too unreal, and yet, the Plython on his shoulders were proof of it. He wondered what he was going to do, with this newfound power, and if he was the only one who could use it. It hasn't hapened with other books, but has this dictionary changed him somehow? Thadius' mind wandered for rest of the walk, thinking things such as "Where is that Omikelop going to go?" or "Should I name this Plython? It seems tame enough, and follows instructions..."

After a while, Thadius ended up at Sam's. He was late by an hour, but he really couldn't care less.

This was it. Sam was finally going to confront Thadius about his lying. She was going to make him sit down and tell her the truth to every lie he had ever told her. Then he wouldn't lie again, hopefully.Sam heard something knocking on the door. She got up and opened it and found Thadius, smelling like cigarette smoke and with a python on his shoulders, and a bag in his hand.
"Where did you get that python?Don't lie to me this time!"said Sam, not really knowing if he would.

"Some guy was going to kill it so I took it off his hands." Thadius casually replied, like it was normal.

"What? You hate animals! You killed Carl's dog, and now you tell me you saved a python?" Sam screamed.

"That dog was an exception. And so were those bunnies. And that guinea pig, hamster, and gerbil."

"Oh.Okay"Said Sam, giving up.There was no point in going any further, Thadius wouldn't talk to her past this point. He could be late, bleeding and missing limbs, but he wouldn't act like there was a problem with it.

"Well c'mon we have to go..."Said Sam, her voice trailing off.

"Remind me"Said Thadius, popping a piece of candy into his mouth,"Where are we going?"
